Mast Cell Activation Syndrome

Mast cell activation syndrome involves the body reacting abnormally to a trigger or triggers, producing anaphylactic-type reactions or allergy-type symptoms. Reported symptoms can include hives, swelling, low blood pressure, difficulty breathing, and diarrhoea, though the presentation varies between individuals.
